NVU Web Authoring

Yesterday, I had a snow day, so I was searching the web for some cool open source software. I stumbled onto a site called NVU. This is a free, open-source program for creating HTML based websites. In the last 24 hours I have basically become obsessed with it and created a sample page that you can check out at http://ethanstutorials.com/nvupage. It’s pretty cool if I do say so myself and I will be making a tutorial on it as soon as possible. Thanks!

How Do You Like It?

Hey everyone. This week Wednesday, I unveiled the brand new www.ethanstutorials.com website design. It took about 20 hours of hard work to finish it, mostly because it is a somewhat small site, but it will be expanding as the year goes on. The site is completely custom, unlike the last site which I used a template to design. Make sure you look at the banner because it changes as you surf throught the site. Also, check out the Live page at www.ethanstutorials.com/live because I am recruiting mods until the end of January. If you would like to comment on the new design, or would like to apply to become a moderator, e-mail me at ethan@ethanstutorials.com. To be a mod for the chatroom, you must be subscribed to the YouTube channel and must be available most of the stream dates. If you are intersted, send me the link to your channel. iPod Touch App Video

New IRC Bot

Hey techies! Today i finally published the first build of the new IRC bot, iEthan. It is currently in build 1.0.1 and I have a new tutorial showing how to make one for yourself. New Site Design Contest

Well, since I have lot’s of time off, I was thinking about making a whole new website design for www.ethanstutorials.com. I would like to incorporate a sleeker design and a lot more content. But, it will require a boat-load of work. So, I would like to know what you guys think about it. To jumpstart the process, I’m going to make it a contest. Whoever comes up with the best new site design, feature, or idea will get a video of their choice put as my channel video. I will put a link to their channel in my videos and I will subscribe to them. Think you can do it? Then email your ideas to me (ethan@ethanstutorials.com.) More Tutorials, New Home Page Design

Well this has been a very busy Christmas season. I don’t know about you, but I’m ready for some change. So, I decided to add a blog-type feature for this homepage. If you want to see the latest happenings on this site, on youtube, or anything having to do with Ethan’s Tutorials, this would be one of the places to see whats going on. The other place would be the new wordpress blog. The full articles of all of the posts will be on the wordpress site. If you want to be notified really quickly about posts and other things, subscribe to the RSS feed for this site. I hope to be posting at least 3 times a week so remember to check them out.
